The last wanted herb in the World :
Lagochilus inebrians or Turkistanian mint is a narrow endemic species
of the Uzbekistan flora, especially spread in the Samarkand region.
Member of the mint family Labiatae, Lagochilus inebrians has long been
known for its intoxicating and sedative properties by Tajik, Tatar,
Turkoman and Uzbek tribesman Shamans.

Traditionally it is taken as a tea. The tea is usually sweetened with
honey or sugar to make it more palatable. Depending on the method
of preparation used and strength of effects desired, dosages may range
from approximately 5 to 10 grams.

Drying and storage increase their aromatic fragrance.
Many pharmacological properties are ascribed to this plant.
Further ethnobotanical research should be carried out on this herb.

nuclear spirit. Leaves contain also radio oil - 0.03 %, tannins-11-14 %,
ascorbic acid and carotid but mainly the crystalline lagochiline.
